Direct to garment printers are making headlines! An AnaJet customer in Alaska was featured in the business section of the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner last Saturday.
Jeff Bushke was the first person in Alaska to offer direct to garment printing services. He has operated Alaska Garments & Graphics since 2010.
While Jeff has had large jobs of up to 600 shirts before, he focuses more on being able to offer small custom orders with a quick turnaround time. “If somebody needs a couple hundred T-shirts and they need ’em quick, I want to be able to accommodate them,” he said.
Garment decoration is a part-time job for Jeff, who is semi-retired, allowing him enough time to enjoy hunting and the outdoors.
“I enjoy doing the work,” he said. “I can get up in the morning, grab my coffee, stay in my pajamas and go to work."
